Internet Explorer Settings for Mirvac EDC

If you see the following message when opening EDC ...

The Mirvac EDC requires the download of certain 'ActiveX' components to function correctly.
Follow the procedure below prior to logging onto the Mirvac EDC.
You must be logged into your computer with "ADMINISTRATOR" privileges (Please verify with your own IT support)

Open Internet Explorer, from the Tools menu, choose Internet Options .. (right)

The screen picture below appears.
Click the Security tab,
Click Trusted Sites,
Click Sites, another window will appear (below right),
Un-tick the check-box at the bottom,
Type 'http://edc.mirvac.com.au' for V2 in the box,
Type 'http://edcv3.mirvac.com.au' for V3 in the box,
Click Add, the address will be listed in the Web sites box,
 
Click OK.

From the Internet Options window, Click Trusted Sites, then click Custom Level...
The screen below right will appear.
 
Click on Enable for the options as pictured,
Click OK in the Security Settings window,
Click OK in the Internet Options window,
Now you can go to the web page http://edc.
mirvac.com.au/edc.
 
The first time you select a project in the Document Register, it may take a minute to download the ActiveX part before displaying any data.

Make sure that you have 'Pop-ups' enabled:
 
From the Tools Menu, select Pop-up Blocker, and click 'Turn Off Pop-up Blocker' from the drop down menu.
** 'Google Toolbars' or 'Yahoo Toolbars', if installed, must also be configured to Allow Pop-ups.
